A slow moving front extending from the Mid-Atlantic roughly southwestward to the Western Gulf Coast will move off the most of the Eastern Seaboard by Monday while lingering over parts of Florida and the Western/Central Gulf Coast. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Mid-Atlantic to the Central Gulf Coast into the Southeast that will move eastward off the Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast overnight Sunday while lingering over the Southeast through Monday. North of the front, rain will develop over parts of the Ohio Valley into parts of the Tennessee Valley that will move into parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic overnight Saturday that will move off the Northeast Coast by late Sunday night. Meanwhile, a second front extending from the Upper Great Lakes into the Northern Plains then banked up against the Northern Rockies that will move south and eastward to the Great Lakes to the Central Plains and along the Northern Rockies by Monday. Rain will develop along the front over parts of the Upper Great Lakes into the Northern Plains and over parts of the Northern Rockies/High Plains. Overnight Saturday, rain and snow will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies that will continue through Monday morning. The rain will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes by Monday. Overnight Saturday, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plains that will move into parts of the Middle/Upper Mississippi Valley that will slowly move into parts of the Western Ohio Valley into the Central High Plains by Monday evening. Weak upper-level energy over the Central Rockies/High Plains will aid in developing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central Rockies into the Central High Plains that will move into the Central/Southern Plains by Sunday morning that will continue over the area through Monday. Elsewhere, an upper-level low just off the Central California Coast will move inland over Southern California on Sunday continuing inland into Monday.
