A front along the Southern Mid-Atlantic into the Southeast will move off most of the Southern East Coast by Monday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and near the boundary from the Southern Mid-Atlantic into the Southeast that will move off the coast overnight Sunday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Central Appalachians into the Northern Mid-Atlantic that will move off Southern New England Coast by Monday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will linger over Florida through late Monday night. Meanwhile, another front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Central Plains then bank up against the Northern Rockies will move will move southward to parts of the Southern High Plains and eastward to the Northeast by Tuesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the front from parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Central Plains/Northern High Plains that will expand eastward along the front into the Ohio Valley by Tuesday evening while continuing over the western portion of the boundary. Additionally, rain will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes that will move into the Lower Great Lakes by Tuesday morning. Diurnal heating and multiple weak upper-level impulses will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms east of the dryline over the Southern Plains through Tuesday. In addition, an upper-level low a long the Central Southern California Coast will move inland to Southwest by Tuesday. The energy will aid in producing rain over parts of Central California that will expand into parts of Southern California by Monday morning. On Monday, rain with embedded thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Great Basin that will expand into parts of the Southwest on Tuesday.
