Upper-level low over the Northeast will slowly move northeastward to Southeastern Canada by Thursday. The system will produce rain and higher elevation snow over parts of New England into the Lower Great Lakes/Central Appalachians that will slowly wane over the Northeast overnight Tuesday. The rain and higher elevation snow will linger over Northern Maine through Wednesday night. Meanwhile, a front over Western Ontario will move southeastward to Northeast by Thursday morning. The boundary will aid in producing rain over parts of the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley that will move into parts of the Upper Great Lakes by Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon into evening, rain will move into the Lower Great Lakes and into parts of the Northeast/Northern Mid-Atlantic overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. In addition, an area of weak upper-level energy over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move southeastward to the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening followed by another area of weak upper-level energy. The energy will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of Central Plains/Middle Mississippi Valley that will move southeastward into the Tennessee Valley by Wednesday. Overnight Wednesday, the showers and thunderstorms will dissipate. In the meantime, a front developing over the Pacific Northwest will move inland into the Northern Plains southwestward to the Great Basin by Wednesday evening. Rain will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern California that will move inland to the Northern Intermountain Region by Tuesday evening. As the boundary moves onto the Northern Plains, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Plains on Wednesday afternoon and into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes by Thursday. Furthermore, a developing upper-level low off North/Central California Coast overnight Wednesday will slowly come onshore on Thursday. The system will develop rain over parts of Northern California overnight Tuesday that expand into parts of the Pacific Northwest, the Great Basin, and Central California by Wednesday evening. The rain will move into parts of Southern California by Thursday. Snow will also develop over parts of the Sierra Nevada's overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Elsewhere, upper-level energy over Texas will slowly weaken while moving into the Central Gulf Coast by Wednesday. The energy will produce showers and thunderstorms over Southern Texas into the Western Gulf Coast through Wednesday evening.
