There will be several impulses riding a long the southern edge of the Westerlies while moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will flow northward over Plains/Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley through Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along a boundary over the Middle Mississippi/Western Ohio Valleys through Saturday morning. A second boundary will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms from the Upper Great Lakes into the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Northern Plains that will move southward into the Ohio/Middle Mississippi Valleys northwestward into the Northern Plains by Saturday evening into Sunday evening. As the boundary moves eastward into the Lower Great Lakes/Northeast, rain will develop over the area and continue over parts of the Northeast through late Sunday night when the boundary moves off the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast. Overnight Saturday, showers and thunderstorms will move into parts of the Central Appalachians/Mid-Atlantic that will continue through early Monday morning as the boundary, likewise, moves off the Mid-Atlantic Coast. Also on Saturday evening, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern/Central High Plains that will move eastward into the Southern Plains by Sunday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will move into the Lower Mississippi Valley/Western Gulf Coast by Sunday afternoon that will expand eastward into the Tennessee Valley through Monday. Elsewhere, diurnal heating and moisture will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies on Saturday into Monday. Tropical moisture and upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Florida Peninsula through Monday.
