Low pressure over the Ohio Valley will slowly move eastward off the Northeast Coast by Friday evening. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northeast to the Great Lakes southward to the Central Gulf coast to the Southeast that will slowly move off most of the East Coast by Friday morning into Friday afternoon. Rain will linger over parts of the Northeast through Friday evening. Upper-level energy over the Northern Plains will move eastward into the Upper Great Lakes by late Thursday night. The energy will produce rain and showers/thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Plains, on Thursday morning, that will slowly move into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley by Thursday evening, slowly dissipating overnight Thursday. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over Southwestern Canada will move southward over the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains by Friday and expanding into the Great Basin by Saturday. The energy will produce rain and highest elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest and the Cascades into parts of the Northern Intermountain Region continuing through Friday afternoon.
