A front extending from the Northern Appalachians to the Southern Appalachians will move eastward off the Northeast Coast by Sunday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary into parts of the Tennessee Valley and the Southeast that will end over the Southern Mid-Atlantic/Central Appalachians by Sunday morning while rain and thunderstorms move off the Northeast Coast by Sunday afternoon. A second front over the Northern/Central Plains will move eastward to the Great Lakes and dissipate by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorm will develop along and ahead of the boundary from parts of the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley into parts of the Central Plains that will move eastward to the Great Lakes/Middle Mississippi Valley by Sunday afternoon. Overnight Sunday rain will move into parts of the Northeast and off the New England Coast by Monday evening with rain continuing over parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic into parts of the Ohio Valley. A third front will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest overnight Saturday and move inland to the Northern Rockies/Great Basin by Monday evening. The system will produce rain over parts of the Northwest overnight Saturday and into parts of Northern California overnight Sunday while expanding eastward into parts of the Northern Intermountain Region/Great Basin by Monday evening. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over the Southwest and monsoonal moisture will produce showers and thunderstorms over the Southwest that will expand into parts of the Southern Rockies by Sunday. The heavy rain associated with these thunderstorms produce scattered, mainly localized flash flooding on Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Additionally, tropical moisture over Florida and the Central/Western Gulf Coast through Monday. In addition, upper-level ridging over the California/Great Basin will aid in producing hot and dry conditions over the region where Red Flag Warning are up and over parts of the Central Rockies. Tropical Storm HUMBERTO is forecast to move northeastward away from the United States.
