The remnant low of once Tropical Cyclone Delta will continue its ascent up the East Coast today. Heavy rain and and some isolated thunderstorms will spread out across the coastal Mid-Atlantic and Northeast today and Tuesday. Meanwhile another deep low pressure system will bring rain and scattered thunderstorms to the Midwest today and eventually the Northeast by tomorrow as it interacts with the coastal system. The heaviest rainfall is forecast to remain mostly offshore except for coastal Maine where up to 2 inches of rainfall may occur through Tuesday. An active pattern will see rain and high elevation snow impact parts of the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies today and particularly tomorrow. A deep low pressure system is forecast to arrive at the Pacific Northwest Tuesday morning and dump a couple inches of rain at low elevations and heavy snow at high elevations of the Northwest U.S..
