Low-pressure over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move northeastward producing light rain and snow showers from the Southern Plains to the Northeast through Thanksgiving. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Ohio, Tennessee, and Lower Mississippi Valleys on Wednesday. Light snow will also develop over parts of Northern New England ending overnight Wednesday. Rain will move into Northern New England on Thanksgiving. Also on Thanksgiving, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic into the Southeast, ending overnight on Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, a cold front over the Northern Intermountain Region to Central California will move eastward to the Great Lakes/Southern Plains by Friday. The system will produce rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest and snow over the Northern Intermountain Region on Wednesday. By Wednesday evening, the snow will move into parts of the Northern Rockies. On Thanksgiving, the rain and snow will wane over the Northwest. Some rain and snow will linger over the Pacific Northwest and the Northern Intermountain Region overnight Thanksgiving into Friday.
