Low pressure over the Great Lakes will move northeastward into Canada by Sunday evening. The system will produce rain and snow over the Upper Midwest, with rain pushing into the Ohio Valley to the Central Gulf Coast. By Sunday morning, the rain and snow will come to an end over the Upper Midwest. Overnight Saturday into Sunday, snow, rain, and freezing rain will develop over the Northeast. The snow and freezing rain will help in creating hazardous driving conditions over the Midwest and the Northeast. Meanwhile, a wave of low pressure developing over the Southern Rockies will move to the Central Gulf Coast by Sunday evening and to Southern Mid-Atlantic by Monday. The system will produce snow over parts of the Great Basin and the Northern/Central Rockies that will expand into the Southern Rockies by early Sunday morning. On Sunday, snow will develop over parts of the Central/Southern High Plains with rain over parts of the Southern Plains. The system will produce mainly rain over the Southern Ohio Valley, Tennessee Valley, and Lower Mississippi Valley. Some snow and a few pockets of freezing rain will develop over the southern parts of the Central Mississippi Valley. By Monday, the rain will move into parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast, with snow developing over parts of the Central Appalachians and Northern Mid-Atlantic. On Monday, snow expands into parts of New England, while rain continues over the Southern Mid-Atlantic Southward to the Southeast. The snow and freezing rain will help in creating hazardous driving conditions over the areas with snow. Furthermore, a front moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest will move to the Southwest/Southern Rockies by Monday evening. The storm will produce coastal rain and higher elevation snow over the Pacific Northwest on Sunday that will expand into parts of Northern California and the Great Basin/Northern Intermountain Region. On Monday, the snow will expand into parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and weaken by Monday evening. The snow will produce hazardous driving conditions.
