A front extending from the Western Gulf Coast eastward to the Southeast will move eastward to the Southeast by Monday. The storm will produce light snow over parts of the Southern Plains and showers and thunderstorms from the Southern Plains to the Southeast through late Saturday night. On Sunday, showers and thunderstorms extend from the Southern Plains to the Southeast. The showers and thunderstorms will continue to move eastward to the Southeast by Monday evening. In addition, as the surface low moves out of Texas, gusty winds and warm and dry surface conditions have prompted a Critical Risk of fire weather to develop over Texas in the trans-Pecos and Middle Rio Grande Valley from the remainder of Saturday into Sunday morning. On Sunday, there is an Elevated Risk of fire weather over parts of the Lower/Middle Rio Grande Valley. Meanwhile, upper-level energy and associated upper-level trough over the Northeast/Great Lakes will produce light snow over the Upper Great Lakes to the Northeast through late Saturday night and light snow over the Northeast on Sunday and Monday. Moreover, upper-level ridging over the Plains will aid in creating temperatures that are 10 to 25 degrees above average over parts of the Northern/Central Plains and Upper Mississippi Valley. Cold air and clouds will create temperatures 10 to 15 degrees below average over parts of the Southern Plains to the Southeast. Furthermore, a front moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest Sunday into Monday will produce coastal rain over parts of the Northwest on Saturday afternoon into Sunday. As the front moves eastward over the Pacific Northwest into the Northern Intermountain Region, on Sunday night, light snow will develop over the Cascades and expand into the Northern Intermountain Region on Monday.
