...Early Season Blizzard on the Northern Plains Winds Down Through
Tonight...

...Northern Plains to western Great Lakes...
The low pressure that caused the early season blizzard over ND
will slowly weaken as it drifts east over northern MN tonight.
Snow rates will continue decrease as the low fills.

Light snow with local Lake Superior enhancements are expected over
the the arrowhead of MN and northern WI/MI through tonight as the
core of cold air aloft crosses. This tapers as low pressure
departs into Canada on Sun.


...Western Montana...
An open trough crosses the southern Canadian Rockies Sunday night
with residual Pacific moisture aiding potential localized heavy
snow over portions of northwest MT. Snow elevations would be above
5000ft, so little impact is expected with this progressive trough
passage.


The probability of significant icing is less than 10 percent Days
1-3.
The probability of heavy snow is less than 10 percent Days 1-3.
