Day 2...
A ridge up the West Coast breaks down Friday as a trough ejects
east off a Gulf of Alaska low. The progressive trough is
accompanied by modest Pacific moisture and heights fall enough to
reduce the snow level to around 5000ft. Localized heavy snow is
expected on preferred western slopes of the WA Cascades as well as
northern ID/MT Rockies.

A deeper plume of Pacific moisture arrives into WA Saturday.
Elevated moisture looks to raise snow levels over 10000ft.

For Days 1-3, the probability of significant icing (0.25-inch) is
less than 10 percent.
