Days 1-3...

...Western U.S....
Some light to moderate snows are forecast to return to portions of
the northern Rockies -- particularly along the southwestern
Montana and western Wyoming ranges as a low-to-mid level front
associated with a Pacific shortwave slides
into the region on Monday.  Then on Tuesday, an approaching upper
low will bring widespread precipitation into Southern California.
Snow levels ahead of the system are expected to be high, with
significant accumulations forecast mainly above 7000 ft along the
southern Sierra and southern coastal ranges.

...Northern Maine...
A cold front dropping south through northern Maine is expected to
stall and remain along the coast through early Tuesday.  Models
show light overrunning snows moving east across northern Maine on
Monday, followed by organized heavier amounts
Monday night into early Tuesday ahead of an area of low pressure
approaching from the Great Lakes.  Several inches of snow are
possible over northern Aroostook County, with a wintry mix,
including some accumulating ice, possible farther south.
