Low pressure will continue to track across southern Minnesota to southern Wisconsin near the IL border early Sunday and the near the MI/OH border region Sunday afternoon. Low-to-mid level frontogenesis and strong upper forcing will support bands of precip north of the low in central to northern WI and northern lower MI. The probability forecasts indicate accumulations of 2 inches or more are likely in portions of northern Wisconsin. Current forecasts indicate a band of an inch or two is expected in part of northern lower MI. The event ends as low pressure departs from the region into the lower Lakes Sunday night. The probability of significant icing is less than 10 percent. This is the last scheduled winter weather discussion until around October 1st.
