Detailed Summary: A deep storm over the Upper Mississippi will move northeastward to James Bay in Canada by Wednesday. The system will produce heavy snow on Saturday over parts of the Upper Midwest a long the U.S./Canadian border. The snow will be wet and with some leaves on trees that may produce hazardous conditions in the form of broken branches and down power lines. The deep storm will produce high winds may develop over parts of the Upper Midwest on Saturday into Sunday morning. In addition, a deep upper-level trough associated with the storm will aid in producing much below normal temperatures on Saturday into Sunday morning over from the Northern High Plains eastward to parts of the Upper Great Lakes. High winds are also possible over and near parts of Lake Huron on Sunday into Monday morning. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Great Lakes southwestward to the Southern Plains, on Tuesday, will move southeastward to the Northeast southwestward to the Western Gulf Coast by Wednesday. The boundary will intersect moisture over parts of the Southern Plains into parts of the Lower Mississippi Valley/Tennessee Valley that will aid in producing heavy rain over parts of the region on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Furthermore, a warm front approaching the Pacific Northwest and associated plume of moisture will aid in producing heavy rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast on Wednesday. Over Alaska, deep low pressure over the Gulf of Alaska and associated plume of moisture will aid in producing an area of heavy precipitation over the Alaska Panhandle on Monday into Wednesday morning. On Sunday into Tuesday/Wednesday, what was once Super Typhoon HAGIBIS will become extra tropical and become a deep area of low pressure moving across parts of the Aleutian Islands.
