Detailed Summary: A front will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Sunday, moving eastward to the Great Lakes by Thursday. Moisture from the Pacific will move inland over the Northwest on Sunday into Wednesday. The moisture will aid in producing heavy precipitation over the Cascades and the Olympic Mountains from Sunday into Wednesday morning. There will be snow at higher elevations and rain at lower. Post Tropical Cyclone SIXTEEN, over the North Carolina Coast, will move off the Southeast Coast out over the Western Atlantic on Sunday. The system will produce an area of heavy rain over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast on Sunday into Monday. An area of low pressure over the Northern/Central Plains moves northeastward to Hudson Bay by Wednesday. Between the area of low pressure and an area of high pressure will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest into the Great Basin aiding in producing an area of high winds over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and the Great Basin on Sunday into Monday. As the area of low pressure moves by the Great Lakes, an area of high winds will develop over parts of the Great Lakes on Tuesday into Thursday. In addition, the system will produce a small area of heavy rain over parts of the Northern Plains also on Sunday into Monday. Furthermore, an area of severe weather will develop over parts of the Southern/Central Plains and parts of the Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley a long and ahead of the associated front on Sunday. The system will also produce an area of heavy rain over the same area on Sunday. On Monday into Tuesday heavy rain will develop along the associated front over parts of the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys into parts of the Lower Mississippi Valley/Central Gulf Coast. The front will also produce and area of severe weather over parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast into parts of the Tennessee Valley on Monday. As the area of low pressure moves into Canada, the associated front will move across the Northeast on Tuesday into Wednesday. Moisture will pool along the front over the Northeast producing an area of heavy rain over the Northeast on Tuesday into Wednesday. Over Alaska, low pressure over the Western Pacific will move northeastward to near the Alaska Peninsula by Wednesday absorbing other areas of low pressure over the region. The storm will produce an area of heavy precipitation from Kodiak Island on Wednesday into Thursday.
