The threat of heavy rainfall is waning across the Southeast

Flood warnings remain in effect for portions of the Ohio Valley
and Mid-South

At 10:45 PM EDT...A pair of low pressure centers across North
Carolina and just offshore the Virginia Capes were leading to
heavy rainfall across portions of the eastern North Carolina and
southeast Virginia which were progressing rapidly eastward.  A
narrow line of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall were
advancing across Central Florida along the cyclones' trailing cold
front.

The remaining heavy rainfall in North Carolina and Virginia should
eject eastward into the western Atlantic overnight.  An additional
1-2 inches of rainfall is possible in this area.
