The coastal low pressure system will gradually pull away from the
East Coast today, resulting in improving conditions over the next
24 hours. Rain should taper off this afternoon and evening and
winds will decrease significantly as the low moves farther away.
Dangerous surf and rip current conditions will likely continue at
East Coast beaches for the next few days.
This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
