...Nor'easter slowly weakening as it moves slowly up the Northeast
Coast, with gusty winds, heavy rain, and coastal flooding impacts
still possible today...
Flood and Coastal Flood watches, warnings, and advisories remain
in effect for parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast coast.
High Surf Advisories are in effect for coastal New Hampshire and
southern Maine.

At 1000 AM EDT...The nor'easter continues to slowly weaken just
off the central New Jersey coast, with a central pressure of 1005
mb (or 29.68 in hg). Latest National Weather Service radar and
observations show generally light to moderate rainfall continuing
across parts of the eastern and coastal Northeast. Gusty
northeasterly winds continue along the coast, with gusts of 40 to
45 mph. However, diminishing winds and lower high tides cycles
will ease impacts from any additional coastal flooding today.

The now weakening storm will move slowly northeastward, moving
over far eastern Massachusettes or Cape Cod tonight, and into the
Gulf of Maine by early Tuesday. Rain bands will continue to rotate
around the storm today across parts of the Northeast, with another
0.5 to 1 inch of rain, with locally higher amounts, expected.
Winds will also gradually diminish today as well. Minor coastal
flooding, especially near High Tide cycles, as well as high surf,
dangerous rip currents, and beach erosion, will be possible
through today. Conditions will gradually improve today and into
Tuesday as the storm moves towards the Canadian Maritimes.
