At 1000 PM EDT...A stationary front with weak waves of low
pressure along it remains in place across the Midwest and Ohio
Valley, within a highly moisture-rich atmosphere. NWS Doppler
Radar shows a complex of thunderstorms moving across Iowa into
Illinois and another cluster of storms moving eastward over Ohio.

A Moderate Risk of Excessive Rainfall is in effect across eastern
Illinois to Ohio and far western West Virginia through tonight.
This is to account for additional flash flooding concerns as
clusters of storms are likely to grow more upscale may bring
locally heavy rainfall over saturated soils. For Sunday and Sunday
night, multiple rounds of storms are likely over West Virginia and
parts of the Mid-Atlantic. The potential for locally heavy
rainfall will be enhanced by energy along and ahead of a trough
moving into the area. Accordingly, a Moderate Risk Excessive
Rainfall Outlook is in the forecast for parts of West Virginia on
Sunday, with a broader Slight Risk extending from the Ohio Valley
into the Mid-Atlantic. Monday should be the start of a relatively
drier pattern as the main trough axis exits off the east coast and
drags a surface cold front through the Midwest and Ohio Valley.
