A disorganized area of cloudiness and elevated PW values once
associated with Wali will continue to push to the NW today, with
widespread showers. Heavier amounts should be confined to the
upslope/mauka regions and over the northern/western islands today
then over the entire region Monday as the last surge of higher PW
values move through the 50th state. By Tuesday the upper ridging
to the north and east will shift south/westward for the balance of
the week. Increased trades amid a stronger pressure gradient but
near or below average PW values should mean a more typical trade
pattern with only scattered showers late week into the weekend. By
next Sunday the ensembles show another increase in moisture as
another weakness aloft and at the sfc pass west of 150W.
