Upper ridging should meander near the dateline and 30N, leaving
Hawai'i in relative but weak troughing. Ensembles indicate PW
values to slowly climb from just below climo values to just over
climo values by early next week. The 00Z ECMWF lies on the higher
1/3 of the ensemble spread while the 00Z GFS lies near the middle
or even on the lower 1/3 of the spread. A compromise should
suffice, but precipitation forecasts should be light regardless.
Trades should be on the weak side.
