Upper ridging should meander near the dateline and 30N, leaving
Hawai'i in relative but weak troughing through the period.
Ensembles indicate PW values to slowly climb from just below climo
values to just over climo values by early next week, especially
over the northern islands as some mid-upper level moisture sinks
southward. A 00Z GFS/ECMWF compromise should suffice.
Precipitation should be light amid relatively weak trades,
allowing local effects to drive the rainfall patterns.
