Weakening surface boundary will wash out over the next 24 hours
with generally light/scattered showers in windward areas. More
typical easterly trades will resume as surface high pressure
passes eastward along 30N this weekend. A quiet/drier stretch of
weather should ensue until about mid-week next week with good
agreement among the guidance. Next possible cold frontal passage
or shear axis would be around next Wednesday. QPF should be fairly
light with forecast PW values only around one inch. GEFS members
were a bit drier than the ECMWF ensemble members - a compromise
seems sufficient.
