Models and ensembles reasonably agree that high pressure settled
to the  northeast of the state over the next few days and
subsequent high bridging to the north of the islands late week
onward should support moderate to brisk trades. This pattern
favors mainly windward terrain based showers given limited
moisture. Moisture may rebound some by late week as amplified
mid-upper level trough passage well north of the state allows a
weakening trailing front approach and settle to the northwest of
the state.
