The global numerical guidance indicates that the trades will
continue to prevail across Hawai'i for at least the next week.
Patchy mid-level moisture will allow isolated showers even in the
leeward areas from time to time. The deep-layer moisture
associated with the ITCZ is progged to stay to the south. Five-day
QPF through 00Z/17 Sunday for the windward exposures is generally
in excess of 0.50", with locally higher amounts--particularly on
the Big Island.
