The models continue to indicate that Hawai'i will remain
vulnerable to disturbances in the trades for at least the next
week, with shifting winds and the chance of showers throughout the
islands. Five-day QPF through 00Z/23 Thursday from the most recent
operational ECMWF and GFS is generally a tenth- to a quarter-inch,
with a few inches of rainfall in the mountainous areas,
particularly around Mauna Loa.
