...Hilda slowly approaching Hawai'i from the southeast...

In whole or in part...'Hilda' will be an integral part of the
sensible weather pattern for the Islands --- and for much of the
forecast period. 

The 11/00Z ECENS/GEFS means support a track similar to the
official Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) through the first
48 hours of the forecast cycle (13/00Z). After this
point---differences are evident---in the ensemble means and their
deterministic solutions across the Subtropics.

The 11/00z deterministic GFS solution closely follows the CPHC
forecast (for track and intensity trend) through 15/12Z. The
deterministic 11/00Z ECMWF is a 'southern-edge' solution within
the entire ensemble envelope and much weaker.
