High pressure bridged to the north of the state will continue to
support moderate to brisk trades this weekend, but in a pattern
with gradual height rises and increasingly limited
moisture/terrain based showers. Models and ensembles reasonably
agree that progressive mid-upper level trough passages to the
north of the state early next week and again late week are
expected to temporarily weaken the trade supporting ridge
underneath and may force associated trailing fronts/showers
southeastward toward the state.
