Models and ensembles remain in good weather pattern agreement for
the Pacific for the next week. Moisture associated with an old
front will linger over the southeast islands into the weekend to
fuel some enhanced showers. Weak island flow will otherwise be in
control into the weekend. Later, a deep mid-upper level trough
digs southward Sunday/Monday past the Dateline. This will bring a
strong cold front through the region Tue/Wed and associated
dynamics and pooled deeper moisture should support another period
of enhanced showers with steady passage, followed by a return of
post-frontal trades.
