Models and ensembles still reasonably agree that high pressure
built NNE of the state will support a moderate to locally brisk
island trade and rainfall pattern over the next week. Latest radar
and guidance suggest showers will focus mainly over windward
terrain and be enhanced by local moisture pooling, but a few may
crest leeward and further enhanced over the state with ongoing
mid-upper level trough passage in the short range. Later, some
tropical moisture potential may also be possible next weekend.
