Rather quiet pattern in place over the central tropical Pacific
over the next week as an upper/sfc high strengthen near 40N/170W
later this week and another near 40N/140W by early next week. A
weakness aloft is forecast to pass westward through the region
this weekend which may increase the chance/coverage of showers,
but the ensembles show heights rising again by next Tuesday.
Typically windward-focused light to locally moderate showers are
expected.
