Little if any change expected through day 4. 14/00Z GFS/ECMWF now
have agreement over the Gulf of Alaska and east central Pacific
with respect to the amplitude of the deep-layered ridge migrating
into the Gulf of Alaska. For Hawai'i and the subtropical eastern
Pacific, the subtropical high should migrate northward, trades
weaken slightly; and in response, mid-level moisture originating
within the ITCZ gradually drifts northward into the forecast area.
  

A blend of the 14/00Z ECENS/GEFS means (including the NAEFS)
maintains a consistent approach concerning mid-level wave
propagation along the ITCZ (currently invof 11N-12N latitude). And
for some of the smaller-scale details invof the island chain,
thought the 14/00Z deterministic ECMWF was useful heading into the
day5-6 time frame.
