Ensembles maintain good agreement across the tropical and
subtropical north Pacific. The GFS and ECMWF show a weak front
dipping southward late Monday into Tuesday with a brief increase
in trades but mostly light showers. Thereafter, an upper ridge
axis is forecast to build in and maintain its presence over
Hawai'i from the middle of the week into the weekend, supporting
light trades and generally light precipitation. Another front may
approach from the north next weekend but the multi-day trend has
favored it to stay just north of the 50th state.
