Models show good agreement in perpetuating a mean longwave trough
across the eastern Pacific with periodic cold fronts either
weakening then stalling or moving through the islands every 2 or 3
days for the next week. The relatively quick arrival and passage
of the fronts combined with limited moisture favors low chances of
rain as the fronts pass. Winds will remain light and occasionally
variable for much of the next 7 days as well, with the trades
possibly reforming next Monday or Tuesday, behind the next cold
frontal passage.
