Ensembles remain in good agreement that subtropical ridging will
drift over Hawai'i during the next couple of days with a surface
high axis stretched east-west along 32-36N which will maintain
locally breezy trades that may increase more broadly midweek. With
a relatively stable air mass and precipitable water values near
average (GFS runs have been on the high side over the Big Island
compared to the ensembles), generally light windward showers are
expected through the week into the weekend.
