Latest guidance shows moderate to brisk trades into the weekend as
high pressure builds to the north then northeast of the state. A
favored guidance composite would meanwhile allow some deeper
moisture to spread across the state from the southeast. This
moisture and proximity of a weakness aloft and south of the state
could combine to fuel some locally heavier showers in addition to
an overall pattern with modest windward/mauka based activity.
Moisture and shower potential is expected decrease next week, with
trades reverting to moderate levels as the broad supporting high
weakens and shifts eastward over the eastern Pacific.
