Model guidance continues to show excellent agreement with a
typical trade wind regime becoming firmly established through the
weekend and into the middle of next week.  The tail end of a
stationary front will initially drape across the waters just north
of the main island chain through the end of the week, slightly
enhancing the chance of passing showers under weak trade winds. 
But as a subtropical high builds in from the northwest during the
weekend, a more typical trade regime with windward
terrain-enhanced showers can be expected.  The trades will
increase to moderate to fresh levels this weekend and continue
into next week.  The increasing winds should provide modest
windward rainfall enhancement over the Big Island into the middle
of next week.
