Upper troughing with forming closed lows are forecast between
170W-180 and 140-150W while ridging passes through Hawai'i. A
trough currently just east of 150W will move westward over the
state Wed-Thu with an increase in lower level moisture and
showers. By Fri-Sat, an upper high will trek westward across the
state as another upper low forms to the northeast of the region
(along or north of 30N). This should maintain a relatively dry
pattern with generally light to modest trades and mauka/windward
showers Sun-Tue.
