Breezy northeast winds behind a cold front will continue early
next week as troughing settles/deepens just east of the state
around 150W. Windward showers are expected that may spill over to
leeward areas given the stronger trades and aided flow from the
surface low to the east, but the models differ on how much
moisture to wrap around the system to the east. For now, prefer a
solution between the wetter ECMWF and drier GFS since the
run-to-run consistency has been less than average. By next
Fri/Sat, ensembles indicate another trough approaching from the
northwest.
