Expect light winds with a few lingering island showers today as a
lead front settles just east of the islands. Models and ensembles
agree to develop a pattern favoring more enhanced activity late
weekend into Tuesday with moisture return associated with approach
and passage of a supporting/amplified mid-upper level trough and
cold front. Disrupted trades should modestly redevelop midweek
through later week as post-frontal high pressure bridges just to
the north of the state in a pattern with a drier airmass and more
limited showers over the state.
