Upper ridging to the east and west of the region favors weak
troughing but still above average heights to start the week. A
stalled front to the north of the area will slowly dissipate
midweek. Weak trade winds through about Thursday will strengthen
Friday into the weekend as an upper and sfc high build near
35N/145W. With precipitable water values near average for late
May/early June, mainly windward/mauka showers are expected with
light to occasionally moderate amounts over the next week.
Models/ensembles remain in good agreement overall.
