Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 807 AM EDT Tue Jun 18 2019 Valid 00Z Wed Jun 19 2019 - 00Z Wed Jun 26 2019 High pressure anchored northeast of Hawaii should keep winds light to moderate with an east-southeasterly direction this week, with typical showers focused mainly towards windward facing coasts and slopes. Winds should shift more towards the southeast by the weekend as a stationary frontal boundary sits just to the northwest of the state. This would result in mainly spotty showers across most of the islands with a some increase in rain chances across the westernmost islands in the vicinity of the front. Santorelli
