Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 820 AM EDT Thu Jun 20 2019 Valid 00Z Fri Jun 21 2019 - 00Z Fri Jun 28 2019 Model guidance continues to indicate that Hawaii will be in between two deep-level high pressure systems which will be anchored over the northeastern and northwestern Pacific through the middle of next week. Meanwhile, a low pressure system is forecast to form well to the north of Hawaii and remain nearly stationary through the weekend and into next week. It appears that organized rainfall ahead of the associated cold front will approach but not quite reach the western portion of the main Hawaiian Islands due to the strength of the high pressure system to the east. Therefore, expect light to moderate southeasterly winds across Hawaii with spotty daily showers through the middle of next week. Kong
