A favored guidance composite shows a relatively dry period over
the islands for the next few days in a pattern with seasonal
trades and mainly windward terrain showers under a lingering
weakness aloft. Trades should weaken mid-later week as a closed
upper trough digs well to the north of the state. This would allow
a pattern with scattered showers. Trades may return to seasonal
levels next weekend.
