Hawai'i will be solidly in the trade winds for the next week, with
the polar front well to the north and the intertropical
convergence zone to the south. The deep-layer moisture does not
look particularly juicy, so only expect garden-variety showers in
the easterlies. The high-resolution 00Z/26 ECMWF indicates that
most of the island chain should see a tenth to a quarter of an
inch of rainfall, with the favored orographic areas netting an
inch or two.
