Despite an overall active Pacific basin (3 tropical systems in the
East Pacific and an amplified pattern over Alaska), Hawai'i should
stay fairly quiet through next week. Upper ridging should retreat
from the northeast Pacific toward the north central Pacific,
keeping the 50th state in relative but weak troughing
(interspersed with weak ridging). With PW values near to below
climo values, only scattered showers (with local terrain
enhancement) are likely.
