The global numerical models indicate that Hawai'i will remain
solidly in the trades for the next week. Patchy deep-layer
moisture should pass across the state from the southeast,
enhancing shower activity. The operational ECMWF spits out
generally a quarter- to a half-inch of rainfall over the
islands--mostly in the first five days of the forecast. Favored
terrain could net over three inches.
