Models and ensembles reasonably agree to hold a shielding
mid-upper level ridge along/south of the islands over the next
week. Fast flow with a progressive/energetic system track and
associated frontal focus is mainly held to the north of the state.
In this pattern, expect generally below normal trades, moisture,
and rainfall over Hawaii. Light showers are possible, including
when the dying front approaches near the end of the week, but
limited moisture reduces chances of moderate or heavy showers.
