Weakening cold front currently pushing through the northern
islands will wash out over the next 24 hours with generally
light/scattered showers in windward areas. Winds will veer from
northerly to northeasterly behind the front to easterly as surface
high pressure passes eastward along 30N tomorrow. A quiet/drier
stretch of weather should ensue for the weekend into next week
with good agreement among the guidance. Next possible cold frontal
passage or shear axis would be next Wednesday or Thursday but
forecast PW values will only linger around one inch.
