Disturbed trade winds with slightly above normal deep-layer
moisture is progged to be the rule across Hawai'i through late
next Thursday. At that time, drier air is indicated to push
southward into the state, squeezing off the tap of juicy air. A
tenth- to a quarter-inch of rainfall is expected over the next
five days, with the usual higher amounts in the favored terrain.
Lighter QPF is shown by the most recent runs of the GFS and ECMWF
for next Friday and Saturday.
